Short version: you pay for work we have actually done. Anything we have not started is refundable, and anything we cannot deliver is refunded in full.
The twenty-minute readiness check is free, carries no obligation, and does not commit you to anything. Nothing on this website takes payment, and no invoice is issued for the readiness check.
You are only ever charged under a written Statement of Work that you have accepted, as our Terms require (clause 1). That document sets out the fee, what is included, and when each stage is billed. If it is not in the Statement of Work, you are not paying for it.
Before we start: you are refunded everything you have paid.
After we have started: you pay for the stages completed at the point of cancellation, and the rest is refunded. We will show you which stages were completed and when.
After an application has been submitted on your behalf: that stage is not refundable, because the work has been delivered to the certification or auditing body. Every stage before it is settled the same way as above.
Third-party fees: any fee you pay directly to a certification body, Auditing Organisation or training provider is theirs to refund, not ours — and we never mark those fees up or take a commission on them.
Cancelling is a written notice, effective 14 days later, exactly as our Terms (clause 14) describe. If we have to stop work for a reason that is our own, you are refunded in full for everything not yet delivered.
We do not guarantee an outcome and we never will — the certificate is issued by the certification body, not by us. If the advice we have given turns out to be wrong, we correct the work at no charge until the agreed scope is met. If we cannot deliver the agreed scope at all, the undelivered part is refunded in full.
Email support@arkprivate.com with the invoice number and what you would like refunded. We reply within one working day, and we settle refunds to the original payment method within 14 days of agreeing them. If you disagree with our answer, say so — we will set out in writing how we reached the figure and you can take the matter further under Singapore law.
This policy sits alongside Singapore law and does not limit any right you have under it, including the rights described in our Privacy Policy.
